At the workshop\, you will meet\, connect with and be inspired by Doulas\, Midwives\, Childbirth Educators\, and people transitioning from other careers. Emphasis is placed on practical\, hands-on services Doulas commonly provide. You will learn about the physical\, spiritual\, psychological and emotional aspects of pregnancy\, labor\, birth and postpartum. You will gain an understanding of your role during each phase of the birth process\, and will have the opportunity to practice providing services Doulas perform at prenatal home visits\, at the birth and at postpartum home visits. You will learn all you need to know about the business side of being a Professional Doula. ??\n\n \n\n This 16 hour workshop is the first step toward becoming a nationally certified Doula.
