Glendora Ave. For the $20 ticket price\, individuals will receive a delicious bowl of soup and bread donated by local restaurants\, and they will go home with a beautiful handmade ceramic bowl and the satisfaction that they are helping to fight hunger one bowl at a time. The Citrus College Ceramics department\, under the leadership of Mike Hillman\, the Tri Community Adult Education's "Pioneer Potters\, and several local ceramic artists have donated 1\,000 bowls to the event\, allowing for wide selection and variety. Several service groups will come together\, including Citrus College students\, Glendora police Auxiliary and Explorers\, volunteers from America's Christian Credit Union\, Kohl's and Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints youth\, to support the First Christian Church Empty Bowls project. Proceeds will benefit food assistance programs administered by Shepherd's Pantry\, St. Vincent de Paul Society and the Glendora Police Department.
