About Us

On behalf of the men and women of the Glendora Police Department, I am excited and pleased to welcome you to our website. I invite you to browse our website and familiarize yourself with the various aspects of our department. We believe this site enhances communication and sharing of critical information with our community members and those visiting the Pride of the Foothills.

Policing is as much about building and fostering positive relationships as it is about safety and enforcement; to this end we are dedicated to working closely with our community.

The dedicated professionals of the Glendora Police Department serve a population of over 50,000. Our staff includes 53 sworn police officers, 40 civilian staff members and a cadre of dedicated volunteers who share their own time in the capacity of reserve police officers, chaplain, Auxiliary, GEARS, and Explorers. Our policing philosophy balances a foundation of traditional policing concepts with innovative and progressive methods. Community concerns are often best addressed by working in partnership with our community; therefore, the Glendora Police Department continually strives for positive public relations. As a resident and police department member, I believe the professionalism within our police department serves to maintain quality public safety and positive public relations.

As your chief of police, I will listen to your needs and strive to openly communicate with community members as well as the men and women with whom I serve. I hope to have you follow me on Twitter @GlendoraChief.
