Glendora Chamber
Introduction to “Shop Glendora” and a Networking Opportunity
The City of Glendora appreciates all of its businesses—small and large. In an effort to support the business community the City will be promoting a “Shop Glendora” message using various visual and media sources. Our efforts will be assisted by the Glendora Chamber of Commerce, and we invite you to join us as well.
The “Shop Glendora” campaign intends to spread the message on the importance of shopping, dining and utilizing services here in Glendora and to educate on the associated benefits it brings to both your business and the community. Benefits include support of businesses, such as yours, who in turn bring vibrancy to our commercial corridors and provide local jobs. For the City, shopping in Glendora brings revenue from sales taxes which help pay for public safety, infrastructure improvements, and activities and services provided by the teen and senior centers, parks and library.
In order for the community to take notice of the program, the City will display the message on our website, social media and cable channel and will also be designing and printing 11”x17” posters, window clings with a “Shop Glendora” logo, informational counter post cards and a street banner. We are asking that your business participates by displaying a poster, post cards and/or a window cling at your place of business, provided to you at no charge. While this program is launching just as the holiday season is approaching we envision this campaign to be ongoing.
For additional information, including plans for a “Shop Glendora” day on November 25, 2017, please join us at a kickoff meeting that will also double as an opportunity to network with other Glendora business owners/managers.
