Safe Driver Pledge
Join the Glendora Police Department, the Glendora Unified School District and the Charter Oak Unified School District to pledge to keep our children safe around the schools. The Glendora Safe Driving Pledge encourages residents of the City of Glendora to drive safely around schools. At the beginning of the school year, residents can “pledge” on the City of Glendora website to drive safely. Residents who make the “Safe Driving Pledge” are entered into a drawing for prizes donated by community organizations. Residents are not eligible for a prize if they have received a traffic or parking citation in the school zones during the school year. I promise to the children at school, to obey all of the California Vehicle Codes (CVC) pertaining to the rules of the road and parking laws around their school during school hours. I will help make the school zones a safe place for all students. I pledge to set a good example for all children and other drivers on the roadway. I understand the "rules of the road" includes driving, parking and my behavior as a pedestrian. I understand that if I receive a citation for violating the rules of the road, I will no longer be eligible for the raffle at the end of the school year.
