Build confidence on stage in a safe and supportive environment: singing, dancing, acting, friendship and fun with the mentorship of working musical theater performers and directors.  Participants will learn and perform in the big scenes and dance numbers from classic Broadway musicals. Each participant that wants a solo will get one! There are also opportunities for the performers to showcase solo acts that they create with the guidance of the directors. At the end of the week there is an optional performance at the Academy, free to the public, for the campers to show off what they learned! Performers wear a black t-shirt or Top Billing t-shirt and jeans or stage skirt.

 

For performers ages 4-18 ~ $120 for the week, $30 day drop-in

We can also offer an additional 1-3 pm time where the kids will eat lunch and watch classic movie musicals then discuss the movie, design costumes and set ideas for updated versions of the film they watched that day and learn to sing songs from the film. We are still working out rates for the additional time but please let us know if you are interested. Also please let us know if you would like us to offer additional hours 8 am -10 am.
