American Survival Strategies Ribbon Cutting

The Glendora Chamber was pleased to host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for one of our newest members, American Survival Strategies, at the Chamber office on July 29, 2024. The company, founded by Robin Lopez, a retired Police Officer from Monterey Park, is dedicated to enhancing preparedness for potential mass shooting events. Following her experience as a police officer during the tragic shooting at the Star Ballroom Dance Studio in Monterey Park in 2023, Robin is committed to equipping businesses and individuals with crucial safety training.

Robin Lopez's expertise encompasses Active Shooter Training, Incident Debriefs, Enhanced Active Shooter Strategies, Active Shooter Response in Corporate Environments, Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings, and Campus Terrorism Tactics.

During the ceremony, Robin received commendations from various distinguished representatives, including State Senator Anthony Portantino and representatives from Supervisor Kathryn Barger’s office. Additionally, Vice Chairs DJ Jafari and Jane Bock presented acknowledgments from the Chamber.
